Artificial Reef Talk with Peter Clarke

About Speaker:

Peter Clarke is a Principal Fisheries Biologist with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Division of Fish & Wildlife, Bureau of Marine Fisheries, where he has built a career spanning 22 years in fisheries science, resource management, GIS, recreational  and commercial fisheries management, and marine habitat enhancement. His work has included commercial and recreational fisheries monitoring, biological sampling, fisheries-management programs, and extensive involvement with New Jersey’s Artificial Reef Program, where he has served as Reef Coordinator and overseen reef development, material deployments, and biological monitoring for over 12 years. Clarke participates in regional fisheries-management committees involving species such as summer flounder, scup, and black sea bass and has contributed to numerous fisheries research and habitat publications.
