About the Program:
Learn how K9 Officer Matt and Gunner work together. Learn about how they Officer Matt was matched with Gunner and what he’s trained in doing. Bring your questions and see Gunner show off his skills in obedience and scent work.
About Brielle Officer Matt Kimak:
Kimak graduated the Monmouth County Police Academy in June 2022 and started in Brielle March of 2024. Gunner (21 month old Belgian Malinois) in August 2025 and attended the K9 academy in September 2025 - January 2026 with the Jersey Coast Police K9 Association.
Previous K-9 Nero served from 2019 until his passing in February 2025.
