BOOK SALE

We always have books and DVDs for sale for $1.00 each. Proceeds support the library. 

 

We are happy to accept donations of books and DVDs in good condition. We cannot accept encyclopedias, magazines or VHS tapes. 
 

MUSEUM PASSES

Library members can check-out a pass or voucher to the Museum of Natural History and the Intrepid Sea Air& Space Museum.

  • The American Museum of Natural History is  located on Central Park West and 79th Street in New York City. The Museum is open from 10:00 am - 5:45 pm daily and closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Phone: (212) 769-5100​

  • The Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum is on Pier 86 (at West 46th Street) in New York City. The Museum is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm from Thursday to Sunday and closed on Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Phone: (212) 245-0072

    • Always confirm operating hours before setting out, as these are subject to change.

    • User is responsible for any fees or charges not included with pass or voucher (such as parking, surcharges for special exhibit admission, etc.)

    • Check the museum’s website for information about current exhibits and special programs.

Homebound Services

HOMEBOUND SERVICES

The Brielle Public Library is the first library in the Monmouth County Library System to offer delivery to the homebound.  Our Homebound Book Delivery Program provides Brielle residents and paid library associate members with the opportunity to use specific library services when medical/physical limitations restrict their ability to personally visit and use the library.    

      
 How it works

  • Homebound participant calls and requests service by 5:00 pm on Wednesday.

  • Materials are delivered or picked-up on Friday mornings.

  • The participant has two weeks to return or renew their materials or be fined under normal library procedures.  It is the participant's responsibility to return the book to the delivery person at the requested time.

  • Participants may request regular or large print books and audio books. There is no limit on the number that may be requested.

  • It will be the participant’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery person has unobstructed

  • access necessary for the delivery/pick-up of the materials.
