About Speaker:
Steve Nagiewicz is a licensed ship Master with over 40 years of experience scuba diving. He is the former Executive Director and Fellow of the Explorers Club, a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society, and a member of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences, Society for Historical Archaeology, Nautical Archaeology Society, and the Register of Professional Archaeologists. Former Chairman of the Shark Research Institute. Steve has also managed the State of New Jersey’s Marine Sciences Laboratory at Sandy Hook, NJ.
Steve has worked in local and New Jersey State Tourism as Chairmen of the CRDA of Atlantic City, sponsored Jersey Shore Alliance. Chairman of the Monmouth/Ocean Tourism Advisory Council
Nagiewicz has a Master’s Degree from Stockton University. He is a retired High School Science Teacher and is an Adjunct Faculty member at Stockton University in their School of Natural Sciences, teaching courses in Marine Archaeology, Marine Underwater Technology, and…
