About the Speakers:

BRIAN WYNN

Head Shaper of Wynn Surfboards and Consultant Brian Wynn started surfing in 1988 and shaped his first surfboard in 1994. Having been tutored by some of the best shapers in the world, Brian has become one of the best surfboard shapers in the business. Brian credits elite shapers like Xanadu, Dick Brewer, Stu Kenson and Marcio Zouvi and  many others for helping him master all of the disciplines of surfboard manufacturing. As a result of their mentorship and years of hard work and relentless pursuit of mastering the craft, Brian has become one of the top shapers in the US.

ROBBIE NELSON:Pro Surf Coaches Lead Coach and Surf Forecaster

Robbie Nelson accidentally discovered surfing in 1977 while on a fishing trip with his Dad. He then spent the next three decades competing and searching for perfect waves around the world. Robbie got his first job as a surf instructor in 1990 in Byron Bay, Australia then graduated from the elite Surfing Australia Level 12 Coaching Coaching Course in 1995.

Coach Nelson recently completed the M.A.P. Coaching Clinic with elite surf coach and World Tour veteran, Jay "Bottle" Thompson.

Robbie is 100% committed to the success of his athletes and has spent the last several years dedicated to developing new and exciting methods to help each surfer reach their goals and potential.
